Make sure you do *not* have the 2i2 selected as the Windows sound device. I would hope you do not need ASIO4ALL to get the focusrite 2i2 running, and that is usually better if it can be avoided, but I am not sure on the status there, if you do need ASIO4ALL that reflects very badly on Focusrite product engineering.
